The Unbelievably Cute Blacknose Valais Sheep
The Valais Blacknose sheep are some of the cutest animals I’ve ever seen. On first glance, they don’t even look real; many people have mistaken them for well-crafted felt projects. I wonder why they aren’t more popular on the internet. They do have a Facebook fan page with over 3,500 likes, butI think they ought to be more well-known.
The Blacknose sheep originate in the Valais region of Switzerland. They are a dual-purpose breed, raised for wool as well as meat. Their most notable features – a black face, black ears, black knees and legs. The rest of their coat is stringy, white and unbelievably fluffy; you’d just want to cuddle up with them. But they’re a pretty tough breed.
The Valais Blacknose are a Heritage breed. These domesticated animals are well suited to live in the extreme climatic conditions of the high mountains and are good at grazing on steep, rocky slopes. Each sheep weighs 80 to 100 kilos and produces about 4 kilos of wool a year. Their earliest mention dates back to 1400 A.D., but they were first recognized as a separate breed in 1962.

Hamsters love Jell-O!
Zoey the hamster can't wait to try out the first recipe from her new Jell-O cook book. While the cover features Jell-O watermelons, it looks like she's trying out some sort of cherry recipe instead. Believe it or not, the book is a hamster-sized version of The Jello Mold Mistress of Brooklyn's actual recipe book -best promotion ever.

Your new favourite guinea pig on Twitter
You may think the lives of guinea pigs are limited to walking around in a cage and eating little food pellets, but apparently they are more active than we think.

It's the 1000th post! Let's celebrate this with magical sushi cats!!
Listen guys, Sushi Cats exist. Because is there really anything cuter than kitties hangin’ out on beds of rice? Naw, man!
Sushi Cats are the photographic brainchild of Japanese company Tange & Nakimushi Peanuts, featuring furballs dressed up in tasty accessories like lobster and pickles and, of course the inedible, bonnets and ping pong paddles.
But here’s the burning question: Why is there so much attention on cats looking like sushi? Get this– “the cats are a magical and historical creature that have been influencing humans since the beginning of time” (debatable).
Whether you’re a fan of these cute nuggets or not, I think we can all agree the photo creations are quite magical.
