You can buy a barrel of Jack Daniel's at Sam's Club

Wholesale warehouses are where it's at for pricey booze these days. $17,000 bottle of Macallan at Costco? How about an entire BARREL (and not the kind those awesome cheese balls come in) of whiskey at Sam's Club.

The barrel above was spied by Redditor domantor1 and, believe it or not, it's the bargain of the bunch. One of the first JD barrels spied was nearly $10,000, while another in Lincoln, Nebraska was spotted for almost $9000. Now obviously that's Ed Begley Jr.-type money, but it will last basically forever, especially if you're the type of responsible drinker who buys entire barrels of whiskey. So do yourself a favor and find a bunch of buddies with deep pockets to go sixteenth-skies with you on this thing.

This is what happens when you leave a job at Arby's

After four long, roast beef-soaked years of working at her local Arby’s, Redditor chopieseeves was ready to throw away her name tag and move on to bigger and better things. The food service industry, as far as we know, has been good to chopie: She met her future maid of honor (also a coworker at Arby’s) during her stint and she was able to support herself while she earned a degree in veterinary technology.

So, it was up to chopie’s bestie to send her away from the world of drive-throughs and greasy sandwiches in style, and she didn’t disappoint (see above).

Honestly, what more could you ask for in a best friend? That girl really knows how to say “you’re special” while also saying “you’re dead to us” in such a subtle way.

50 Things a Geek Should Know

To be considered a true geek in today's geek friendly world, you can't just be smart. You have to dedicate yourself to the right movies and TV shows. You have to be curious about all kinds of computer and technology. You need to know which video games to play, which superhero to root for, which quotes actually matter. But probably most important of all, you need to know how to Internet.

Australian Woman Marries a Bridge in Southern France

For the last 10 years Australian artist Jodi Rose has traveled the world recording the vibrations in bridge cables with contact microphones and using them to create experimental music. You could say she has an almost intimate relationship with bridges, and recently she decided to make it official by marrying a mysterious bridge in the south of France.

Le Pont du Diable (Devil’s Bridge) is a 600-year-old stone bridge built over a steep-sided gorge in Céret‎, but for Jodi Rose it’s simply “The One”. After visiting dozens of bridges all over the world, for her Singing Bridges musical project, she decided this was the one she wanted to celebrate her love for bridges with. Although he is made of stone, the resonance of his being is very present, and I feel at peace in his strong embrace,”Jodi said. ”He makes me feel connected to the earth and draws me to rest from my endless nomadic wanderings. He is fixed, stable, rooted to the ground, while I am nomadic, transient, ever on the road. He gives me a safe haven, brings me back to ground myself, and then lets me go again to follow my own path, without trying to keep me tied down or in thrall to his needs or desires. I am devoted to him. The perfect husband… strong and silent!”

The Nerdiest and Most Gangster Yearbook Quote of the Year

Jessica Lee wins. She wins everything. Drawing on her knowledge of the periodic table, the graduating high school senior's parting words of wisdom -- published under her photo in the Garfield High School yearbook -- appear to be a nerdy recitation of elements. But wait. Look a little closer.

I could tell you what the translation is…but I think it’s more fun if you click on this periodic table, and solve it for yourself! (Especially since the resulting lyric is a teeny bit NSFW.)

Nathan Fillion stabs Link and steals Zelda

Here’s a picture of Nathan Fillion being, well, Nathan Fillion. He also happens to be stabbing Link while holding a very happy Zelda in his arms. This is silly because, in reality, Zelda would have stabbed Link herself and jumped into Nathan’s arms all on her own.

Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts Flavored Vodka

It seems as though we just can’t get enough of these breakfast flavored vodkas. Literally days after we introduced you to the Mama Walker’s Breakfast Liqueurs, Kellog’s decided it was time to unveil their Pop-Tarts Vodka.

That’s right, an entire range of vodka dedicated to our favorite morning treat. As if the news of the Pop-Tarts ice cream sandwich wasn’t exciting enough for fans of the popular toaster pastry, we now have the option to indulge on 3 different flavors of 80-proof Pop-Tarts vodka. Kellog’s will roll out three classic flavors including Strawberry, S’mores, and the above pictured Brown Sugar Cinnamon. The company has been prepping this line for years at their headquarters, and have plans to roll out 3 new flavors every year. We were saddened to find out this was simply an April Fools joke by Table to Grave, but figured this post could spark some thought.

UVIC offers a "Science of Batman" course

In further proof I picked the wrong f***ing major, the University of Victoria in British Columbia is offering a 'Science of Batman' course that explores the human body and it's adaptability though the life of Batman. No word if losing both parents at a young age is a prerequisite. I'm not kidding. See the university link.

My Knitted Boyfriend

My Knitted Boyfriend is a knitted bodysuit by Noortje de Keijzer that looks like a cartoon man that can be worn by a real man. Don't have a real man? Stuff this one full of pillows and socks and commit to the sadness. Presumably the bodysuit was made for women that love everything else about their lover except his looks. This way you can knit him to look like whatever you want. Except realistic looking. Or thinner.
