Now you can go to the same school as a Time Lord
This is absolutely the most brilliant university ad that has ever been created. It’s for the University of East Anglia which just happens to be Matt Smith’s alma mater. He studied drama and creative writing there, graduating back in 2005. They have a pretty impressive list of graduates, but I think graduating a Time Lord really does have all the others beat.

Mindplay Lego Hair

Holland-based design studio elroy klee have recently completed an advertisement shoot using the building blocks of LEGO's. The constructed wigs resemble the fashionable hairstyles of an african afro, short crop and blonde layers, using only black, red and yellow pieces. The custom objects were properly fitted to the portions of the models heads, whom then had to balance the covers while the photographer captured the necessary shot for the campaign.

Creative Advertising Perfume Plug-in Ad in Japan

While Japan’s robotically hypnotic girl-trio Perfume is making their world debut while keeping their “Japan-ness” with their new album JPN, they’re also still being heavily promoted at home.
Not sure if this has been done before, but this ad in Shibuya for the single Spring of Life plays the video, but if you want to hear the music you’ll have to plug in your own headphones. Pretty decent amount of people doing it too, all plugged into the same wall.
Here's what the ad looks like.

Awesome Carlsberg's Social Experiment
Carlsberg's new advertising campaign is putting unsuspecting couples in the hot seat. What would you do when walking into a movie theater only to see two available seats surrounded by 148 badass biker dudes? Would you sit down? Would you run away? Maybe the real question isn't what would you do? The real question is do you have the balls to be yourself and to be a real man in any situation?

Advertised Fast Food Compared To The Real Deal

Let’s talk a little about the fast food that millions of people stuff their faces with each and every day, especially the millions of hamburgers that are consumed. Advertisements are one of the most powerful mediums these burger chains have to spread their reigns. We don’t seem to be phased by the differences between an advertised burger and the one that is actually in the package when we get it.

You may or many not have read the glut of recent articles highlighting the controversy over the "skinny" models in the latest ad campaign for Equinox Fitness Clubs shot by photographer Terry Richardson. The History of Advertising
Advertising has been around almost as long as human civilization, but not quite to the same extent that we have it today. According to the infographic, some of the first ads popped up around the time of the ancient Egyptian civilizations serving more as public notices and announcements than the call to buy or sell.
